Street Connect’s partnership with Hope Church began at the start of June, with an average of 20 – 30 people being encountered each day during street outreach – 102 people to date.
Project Worker Martin comments “It has been a pleasure to work alongside Hope Church and the volunteers these last few weeks. We are seeing positive responses from the community and our hope is to reach those in the area and possibly link with our support services in Clydebank who have a great established support hub.”
One-to-one support will be taking place on Fridays. Our support is tailored to people’s individual needs and circumstances, and includes supported referrals to other agencies for many of the needs surrounding addiction, such as housing, health, food banks etc.
We are looking forward to sharing good news stories and testimonies in the future.
