I am so blessed to have witnessed first hand the impact of Street Connect in peoples lives and want to help raise funds in support of this great work. I started with Street Connect as a volunteer at the recovery cafe in Greenock and now work with them as a trusts and grants fundraiser. I want to continue supporting Street Connect from a personal level too and hope this challenge will raise awareness and offer a time of prayer and reflection in preparation for the works yet to come.Update Wed 28th June:Day 1 of the Pilgrim Way, the weather won't stop the adventure! We headed off this morning from Culross. Culross Abbey founded by Malcolm Earl of Fyfe in 1217 then later dedicated to St Mary and St Serf. Met a lovely lady on the road who's friend volunteers for Street Connect! We stopped at Cairneyhill for tea, and were blessed with some cake and scones for the road.It's chucking it down but all in good cheer!
