We were honoured to welcome former First Minister Humza Yousaf to our Govan project, where he took time to see the vital work being done to support those struggling with addiction.

During his visit, he engaged in honest discussions with our team about the challenges faced by those in recovery and the urgent need for more support services. He was very receptive to our observations on these issues and highly complimentary of the role Street Connect plays in reaching out to those in need.

As well as taking part in important conversations, he also visited our community garden, where Martin and his team are leading a garden makeover project to create a welcoming and therapeutic space. We were encouraged by his enthusiasm and his keen interest in helping with this initiative.

We are grateful for the opportunity to share our work and highlight the life-changing impact of connection, community, and faith in the journey of recovery.
